The Chronomaniacs An apprentice pressured by his jealous girlfriend. Two perspiring gentlemen surrounden by complex numbers, the wheelchair-bound visionary and his mute butler. And at the centre of it all: the infernal machine. If only all clocks would tick at the same time... 25 years ago the director of the company «GTW», Mr. Frutiger, had a vision. Today, his dream‘s becoming reality - he‘s finally looking at the machine which represents his contribution to globalization. Apprentice Fredy is surrounded by the commotion and furore in the assembly station: the superiors have proclaimed a state of emergency. He‘s polishing the machine under the scrutiny of his aggitated supervisor. Fredy's thoughts however, are elsewhere, his girlfriend has threatened to dump him this evening if he doesn't turn up on time. He can‘t concentrate and makes a terrible mistake: one that has unexpected consequences.
