| Bear-Ly in Love |

In the middle of high season a grizzly unexpectadly visits a village in the Swiss mountains. Turmoil ensues. An expert is called in and given the task of assessing whether the bear is dangerous or not.
A new baer shows up. The renowned bear expert Urs Nägeli sends his german assistant Paula Kreutzer in order to evaluate the wild animal. She finds herself amidst a quarrel between narrow-minded peasants, hysterical animal lovers and specially Beat Geser; the only swiss wild animal hunter, who fights for the approval to shoot down the bear. In order to soften Paula, he pretends to help. But Paula smells a rat. |

The production of the film between Swiss Television, Sat.1 and the two production companies Dschoint Ventschr Filmproduktion and Life Entertainment, Berlin, started the 9th of June 2008 in the Swiss Mountains, in the region of Bregaglia Valley.
The romantic tv-comedy is beeing directed by Mike Eschmann, the maker of «Achtung, fertig Charly!» and «Breakout». The swiss actor Pasquale Aleardi («Grounding») who made himself a name in Germany is playing the role of the wild animal hunter Beat Geser. The renowned german actress Muriel Baumeister comes to Switzerland as the biologist Paula Kreutzer and Stefan Gubser acts as professor and baer expert. |
